This policy explains what information Virtual Employee collects when you use this beta service, and how it's used. It will change as the product evolves.
What we collect
When you register, we store your full name, email address, and a hashed (never plain-text) password. We also store the business or individual name you give your account, along with your chosen country, currency, time zone and locale.
How we use it
This information is used to operate your account: authenticating you, showing your business's data back to you, and keeping the service running. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Cookies
We set one essential, httpOnly cookie to keep you signed in between visits. It cannot be read by page scripts and is used for authentication only — not for tracking or advertising.
Data storage and security
Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Any third-party credentials you connect (for example, to let an employee post to a service on your behalf) are encrypted before they're stored.
Virtual employee personas
Photos, names, biographies and nationalities shown for virtual employees in the catalog are fictional and do not describe or identify any real person. No personal data is collected about these personas because they are not real individuals.
Your rights
You can ask us to export or delete your account data at any time by contacting us through the link below.
Changes to this policy
As this is an evolving beta product, this policy may change. We'll update this page when it does.
